Thompson Center High Plains Sporter Barrel assembly, Ramrod, nipple, sights +
This 50 caliber barrel assembly is from a Thompson Center High Plains Sporter Muzzleloding Black Powder Rifle. Blue finish has spots of light rust from bloody hands towards rear of barrel and a few scars towards front. All flaws are shown in pics. Barrel shows some Typical Black Powder corrosion but loads a tight patched ball well and shoots well. Round 1 barrel in. 50 caliber with 1-48 rate of twist to accurately shoot sabot, Maxi Balls or round ball. Thompson Center synthetic ramrod. Has original front sight and adjustable rear sight. Sling swivel stud on ramrod ferrule. New looking stainless steel nipple.

This is a well used but still functional flintlock barrel frobm a. 45 cal Thomson center Hawken. The barrel was from a Kit gun and looks well used. The sights and ramrod are there, Function, but are a little rusty as well as the brass and blued hardware. The barrel has a cool vintage/ mountain man look if your into that kind of thing. Would look good paired with a worn stock or older stock that’s not pristine. Barrel channel is 15/16 so it will work with a. 45 or, 50 cal stock. The bore looks very good with minimal use that I can see. I don’t have a bore light small enough to fit down the barrel but with a flashlight it looks pretty good with minimal rust or pits.

The tang and trigger are there, Function, but are a little rusty as well as the brass hardware. The stock has a cool vintage/ mountain man look if your into that kind of thing. Would look good paired with a rust blued or older barrel that’s not pristine. Barrel channel is 15/16 so it will work with a. 45 or, 50 cal barrel.
