It has the original factory finish. This appears to be from an unfired rifle. This stock is factory made stock in Very Nice condition and some nice grain structure. It includes the buttplate and nose cap due to these parts and their fitting challenges. No cracks, splits or gouges. There are no hidden cracks or splits. The 15/16 barrel channel will accept multiple caliber barrels.
