Built by Dave Van Horn. These barrels are New Old Stock. Some have been on the shelf and, traveling back and forth to gun shows for several years. The lugs are welded on with stainless steel rod, the welds may have incomplete bluing, based on how the fill rod mixed with the base metal. It does not mean the barrel was incorrectly blued. T/C frames vary slightly over their 40+ year production. We test fit all barrels on our frame(s) for correct fit and function. MGM Thompson Center Contender 16 1/2 pistol barrel with Burris high quality 3-12x handgun scope. These octagonal, rifle barrel blanks were the remaining stock of the TC custom shop and theThompson Center Association, which I belonged to at the time, bought them all and they sent them to MGM and if you were a member, you could have the length and caliber you wanted. They also made them all twisted octagon. 223 Ackley Improved, and it is a tack driver with the load it likes. Normal usage marks from the forend and a few rubs from using it. The scope is great for handgun hunting or target. This may seem a little high priced, but it is worth every cent. Dont think you will find many for sale. It is in really good shape. Not new condition, but not shot a lot either. New brass is fireformed by shooting factory. Then you have AI brass! Dont miss this one!
