Thompson Contender 22LR Match Super 14 Stainless Barrel With Extension. The barrel itself is 14 inches. There is an extension that is professionally welded onto the barrel that makes it a total of 16.5 inches long. My research tells me that this is so it can be used in a rifle configuration and or to make it legal for use in California.
