Rochester, NH made Thompson Center stainless steel 26 heavy contour 204 Ruger factory barrel for TC Encore and Priohunter. Any factory encore forearm should fit this barrel and the. 204 Ruger is an absolute speed demon. I have not fired this barrel as I bought it many months ago mounted on a complete rifle in excellent used condition. There are no open sights on these heavy contour factory barrels but it is drilled and tapped for a 4 hole scope base. In the past I have found these 26″ heavy factory barrels to be extremely accurate as well as the 24″ more tapered factory barrels. I cannot say the same for the 28 OH bbls. In my opinion26 is all the length you will need to get maximum velocity from this super fast. Letting this one go simply because I have no ammo for this roll round and I have too many barrels. With TC no longer in production, it’s likely this factory barrel will never be made again. Also in my opinion, the stainless steel looks excellent on walnut as well as synthetic stock sets. There are a few safe marks here and there an there is some staining from an adhesive being used when a scope mount was on the barrel but this will not hurt the function of the barrel in any way and I will likely be able to clean most of what you see near where the scope base will be mounted cleaned away.
