Here’s an early production 50 caliber Barrel from a Factory made Thompson Center Hawken. The bore is Bright and shiney with no pitting. This Rifle has the sought after Maltese Cross. The bore nor the fire channel below or around the nipple shows much use. This one will be easy to load and clean. The bore still shows some Bluing near the muzzle. It is 29″x 15/16″ including the breech plug. The nipple threads are excellent. The clean out screw comes out easily. This barrel should produce excellent hunting accurracy.
