For your consideration, a handmade custom stockset for the thompson center encore prohunter frame and barrels. This is one of theee stocksets I have from this maker who is from Arizona. This stock set has been mounted on a frame and barrel and was used to sight in maybe 2 different barrels and scopes, but this set has never been hunted with. This set is in EXCELLENT condition. The Arizona mesquite wood has excellent figure as well as strength with high end fit and finish. The forearm has typical hole spacing for the factory 24 bbl as well as the standard factory prohunter heavy contour fluted barrels. The barrel channel will accommodate all factory barrel profiles, like those of the 24″, 26″ heavy contour as well as the heavy contour of the prohunter Fluted barrels. I never tried a full 1 bull barrel profile which is sometimes seen on custom barrels. I suspect it would be too large. ALL MOUNTING HARDWARE IS INCLUDED. THERE ARE NICE BRASS INSERTS WHERE EACH OF THE THREE ATTACHMENT SCREWS GO. THERE ARE ALSO TWO MOUNTED SLING SWIVEL STUDS. The frame bolt as well as the forearm screws for the encore and prohunter frames and barrels. Don’t let this extremely well made custom stock set get away. Ive had custom sets from all of the well known TC custom stock makers, and the three I have, that were made by this man in Arizona, have been my favorites by far.
