I believe this is what is known as the “Hunter” barrel. It is a 12 barrel with Muzzle Tamer as pictured. This is used, but is in really nice shape. Please see the pictures for details. (overnight) If you catch us out of town, then it is set as 5 days… Look at the beautiful grain on this stock…. Stock assembly for an Thompson Center brand Renegade Muzzle loader. Drilled for double trigger set up! It is set up for a 1 barrel. This stock has the typical dings that come with age and use. No structural defects cosmetic finish flaws only! Look closely at the pictures… I have taken pics of scratches, bumps etc that do exist. This stock has been used but used with taste… Not flawless, it is used. I got some good pics of it. You could fairly easily polish most of the scratches out if you wished. If you are going hunting…. This is a good cheap stock for the heavy bore 1 Thompson barrel! It’s time for elk! Look at the pictures carefully. You get what is in the pictures. And only what is in the pictures. Please note that at any given time I have various barrels and stocks listed… No two of them are the same!!! There is only limited interchangeability between brands and calibers. Occasionally you’ll catch us out of town to a gun show, then it is 5 days… For a 50 caliber inline. Cap style Muzzle loader. The trigger assembly is not included…. This is a good hunting barrel, It is set up for a scope. This would have a really nice shiny bore. But is has some crude, rust also there. I think it will clean right up when you start in shooting it. It was taken from a safe queen rifle. Look at the pics. They don’t make these barrels anymore… It is very rare to find one in decent shape. Please note that at any given time I have various barrels and stocks listed… No two of them are the same!!! T/C Thompson Center Custom Shop 17 inch 30-30 Contender Barrel with Muzzle Tamer

This stainless-matte barrel is 17 inches long and is equipped with fiber optic sights and a muzzle tamer. It was manufactured at the long-gone Rochester NH T/C Custom shop and it really shoots. Even though it is only 17 inches, velocities are nearly identical to a 24 inch Savage and Model 94s with factory ammo or handloads. Muzzle report is a sharp’bark’ but it does not kick at all; perfect for a youngster or small statured hunter wearing ear protection. The barrel has filler screws in the scope base holes. Bore is bright and shiny and well-cared for. External surfaces are like new except for some slight rubs. I set up a Contender Carbine for youths to deer hunt with and it was a neat, 4 3/4 pound gun that was perfect for kids, or to carry if out for a scouting/hunting cruise. This is a rare, useful and well made barrel from the great old Custom Shop in NH. You will not be disappointed by the way this barrel looks or shoot. Cap style Muzzle loader. 1 across the flats barrel. Not marked as a renegade. My understanding is that these were pre Renegades…. The barrels are identical but these bring a premium because they are pre markings… Look at the pics… The bore is in Good shape. It has the very fine wear layer to the inside finish, only limited wear. The exterior also shows very little wear. The inside of the ramrod thimbles are the only places with any rust. The Pics are really good…. You can see what you are getting. If you are wanting a to put a nice barrel on your stock to make it shoot like new again??? This is your barrel! They don’t make these anymore… It is very rare to find an old barrel like this in this good of shape. This is the Caliber that you need for elk or big game.
