There is an extension that is professionally welded onto the barrel that makes it a total of 16.5 inches long. My research tells me that this is so it can be used in a rifle configuration and or to make it legal for use in California. Being that this barrel is used there are light signs of wear, marks, signs of use, please see pictures for condition I can easily provide more.

T/C Contender/G2 10 22 LR Match Barrel, Muzzle Dia. Includes barrel, factory forearm w/ screw, scope base, unfinished grip, no screw (fits G2 Only) and unfinished forearm, forearm V-block. Unfinished forearm bottom tapers from 2″ to 1-7/8″. V-block will need to be bedded into forearm. Grip needs finish shaping. Bluing around front sight screws looks like cold blue. Rest of the barrel is clean.

The lugs are welded on with stainless steel rod, the welds may have incomplete bluing, based on how the fill rod mixed with the base metal. It does not mean the barrel was incorrectly blued. T/C frames vary slightly over their 40+ year production. We test fit all barrels on our frame(s) for correct fit and function.
