Thompson Center Contender 38 Super Octagon Barrel – RARE. Includes styrofoam original packing insert. One of the toughest of the 10 inch barrels to find, this one is definitely collector quality condition. Absolutely no rust anywhere, absolutely no rust freckles, no signs of abuse and frankly I’m having a hard time finding any signs of use. Muzzle end shows absolutely no bluing loss, rifling bore and chamber look mint. Condition is Used, however there is a chance this Barrel has never been fired. It is in that nice of a condition that I really can’t tell for sure if it has been fired or not. Has a few micro scratches here and there only visible upon extremely close examination, and does not exhibit usual frame rub marks you normally see on a used Barrel. Bluing is the usual spectacular high gloss Bluing that Thompson Center used to be renowned for. Bore is mint, however it is Dusty and you will need to run a patch through it when you get it. I really don’t want to mess with it anymore than I have to for fear of damaging the Finish in some way. Please be sure your local and state laws allow you to own this Barrel before purchasing.
