Thompson Center Barrel

Thompson Center Contender TC4107 14 blue pistol barrel chambered in 45-70 Govt. New, never mounted by me, I bought it last month and decided to go in a different direction. As I was posting the photos I notice you can see what looks like frame/forend rub marks. These must be from factory fitting and are more pronounced in the photos though afterwards I relooked and you can see them on the barrel. The barrel comes with a factory muzzlebrake, has no sights and is drilled and tapped for a scope base. TC tells me the brake is threaded on with threads being either 1/2-28 or 5/8-24 (cannot be 1/2-28 on 45-70 BTW, but I guess TC customer service couldn’t figure that out). It is interchangeable with later G1 Contender frames (TC says serial number greater than 195 000) and any G2 frame. This item is in the category “Sporting Goods\Hunting\Gun Parts\Pistol Parts”.
