This is a 10 Thompson Contender barrel. It is mounted with a Weaver 20mm variable scope (1.5 x 4 power). The barrel and scope are in very good condition. Shows to have had light use. Here is some info on the 7mm TCU. The 7mm TCU, like the rest of the TCU family, is based on a necked up and fireformed. By far the most popular of Wes Ugalde’s wildcats, the 7mm TCU has dominated the “production” category of both NRA and IHMSA silhouette competition. This should come as no surprise, since the 7mm TCU has virtually everything going for it. It is superbly accurate, and not at all finicky to load for. Its parent cases are readily, and cheaply available, and case forming is a snap. The 7mm TCU is the most widely used, and still the winningest cartridge in the “production” class today.

Up for sale is a Thompson Center Contender 10 octagon barrel in the desirable. This barrel comes with a Thompson center lobo 3 power pistol scope. The front sight is still on the barrel but the back sight is missing because if the scope being mounted. The barrel shows some blueing wear throughout and some rub marks from a forearm being mounted. This barrel is still nice for the age and the bore looks good. Please look at all the pictures and read the entire description. Please note that not all T/C contender barrels will fit all T/C contender actions without some adjustments by a qualified gun smith. This does not mean that this barrel will not fit your gun but sometimes barrel lugs will need to be changed to fit different frames. My research tells me that this is so it can be used in a rifle configuration and or to make it legal for use in California. It is drilled for a 6 hole mount making it super solid (mount not included). Includes 45 pieces of formed brass.
