Stock was cracked through the lock bolt (all too common) and repaired with epoxy bedding compound and a large screw down through the wrist under the tang. After repair, the stock was completely refinished. Barrel was numbered less than 1100, so a very early model 1971? Single screw nose cap (later models had two screws). Fits either percussion or flintlock models (45 or 50 caliber). For a 15/16 across the flats barrel. There is a screw hole in the bottom of the butt stock where a sling stud was probably mounted, visible in the photos. There is no nose cap. A double screw nose cap will fit this stock.
