I had this on my Encore for a little while but then I swapped it out for a walnut set. Condition of the buttstock is very good-to-excellent. They forend does have a little bit of noticeable cosmetic wear. There are some cosmetic dings on the sides of the forend see pics. I don’t feel them when gripping it like I would if shooting, though – it’s nothing that’ll make your support hand uncomfortable or anything like that, just cosmetic. There’s also a little bit of light, superficial scratching on the bottom of the forend in a few places, but it’s even less significant than the dings on the sides – you can see it only at the right angle of light & can barely feel it if a few spots but it’s no really noticeable to the touch when gripping it. The buttstock will fit any Encore/Pro Hunter rifle frame, & the forend is compatible with all RIFLE (ie, non-shotgun/non-muzzleloader) Encore/Pro Hunter barrels. If you ever want to put a shotgun or muzzleloader barrel on your Encore you’ll need to get the appropriate forend for that. These flex tech ones seem to be hard to find these days. They’re a very good synthetic stock/forend, with great “grippiness” provided by panels on the places where your hands go, & an excellent Limb Saver recoil pad on the buttstock that works very well to reduce kick to your shoulder. I had no issues with this stock set whatsoever other than I decided I wanted the look & feel of wood on my Encore. But if you want to go synthetic on your Encore rifle for lighter weight & top-notch weather-resistance, these flex tech ones are by far the best, much better than the more common plain-Jane synthetics you come across. This is definitely the synthetic set I would want if I hadn’t decided to go with walnut. The grip cap & mounting hardware shown in pics is included. Grab this one up before someone else does!
