The rifle length hanger bar creates a more stable and accurate platform to mount the forearm to the barrel. This barrel is in excellent used condition and the only marks I see anywhere are very slight frame marks that I tried to include in the photos. Nice target crown at the muzzle. The rifling looks excellent and the match chamber should produce excellent accuracy. I bought this barrel preowned and never fired it. Letting this one go because I have a Bullberry Contender rifle barrel in 22 WMR, without a match chamber and it will put 5 shots in one ragged hole at 80 yards. Bullberry’s accuracy guarantee is 5 shots under an inch at 100 yards when the hanger bar is used with the appropriate forearm as well as quality factory ammo. I believe the twist rate is 1:14.
