Thompson Center Barrel

Occasionally you’ll catch us out of town to a gun show, then it is 5 days… Cap style Muzzle loader. 1 across the flats barrel. This is not the same as a 15/16 hawken model. Most hawkens are 15/16… This is a big bore set up for elk! Actually marked as a Hawken, Very very rare. It will go on a renegade stock. This barrel was likely one of the last ones made. It has a smooth (unrifled) spot at the very end of the bore to make it really easy to load. First time you load one made like this you won’t ever go back to the normal type! Look at the pics… The bore is in Excellent shape. It has a very shiny bore, with no significant wear. I don’t think it has spent hardly any time in use… It is one of the absolute best barrels I have ever had! The exterior also shows almost no wear. The Pics are really good…. You can see what you are getting. If you are wanting a to put a nice barrel on your stock to make it shoot like new again??? This is your barrel! They don’t make these anymore… It is very rare to find an old barrel like this in this good of shape. This is the Caliber that you need for elk or big game. Please note that at any given time I have various barrels and stocks listed… No two of them are the same!!! There is only limited interchangeability between brands and calibers. The various brands and sizes listed at any one time will not go together because of being different models specs etc. It will not go bang Note this is the stock only. As with any parts for a firearm you would need a competent gunsmith to certify your parts and your loading etc before use. This sale is for the stock, lock and fixtures shown in the pictures only. It is only a part intended for restoration and showing-re-enactment purposes only… Not firing of a projectile. You would also need a gunsmith to certify legality of the resulting firearm… Therefore this part is not intended for such.
