Great for silhouette shooting. The top has been lightly glass beaded to reduce glare. It comes with a Pachmayr adapter for a Pachmayr fore end. The insert is removable so you can replace the bead front post with other Lyman 7A inserts. I used this while living in southern California to shoot empty propane tanks at 200 yards in the Barstow California desert area. My eyesight is not what it used to be so I can no longer use it.
