A nice 50 cal Hawken barrel 28. Has the old style sights. Comes with an original hickory ram rod. This barrel was from a kit and is in great shape. The outer finish is spotty and I believe it was originally cold blued. I personally like it the way it is but you could re black it and it would look fantastic or brown finish it. Here’s a Pre Warning made 50 caliber Barrel from a Kit Thompson Center Hawken. The bore is Bright and shiney except for a tiny amount of almost imperceptible light pitting at the muzzle. I had to magnify the photos to even see It. This barrel was fired very little. It has ZERO Finish with no bluing yet no pitting. It has a diamond mark on the underside of the barrel. It is 29″×15/16″ including the breech plug. The nipple threads are excellent. This one shows light tooling due to lack of use. This barrel will produce wonderful accuracy.
