Thompson Center Hawken barrel 50 cal. 15/16 inch across the flats x 28 15/16 long. Bottom flat has the Maltese Cross for those of you that can determine the barrel maker based on the stamp. Pre warning, early 5 digit serial number. Sights have been converted to primitive buckhorn and blade. One of the original mounting holes for the rear sight is visible and unplugged. Two dovetails have been cut on the underside for mounting lugs in a different rifle. They will be hidden when the barrel is installed in a Thompson Center stock. Bore is bright an shiny.
