Here is a used Thompson Center New Englander 54 caliber. You will get the barrel that is pictured. Outside is very clean. The bore is bright and shiny with the exception of 2 areas in the bore with pitting. 3″ from the muzzle there is an area with pitting that is 1 1/2″ long. 3″ from the breech end there is an area 4″ long that has pitting. I have scrubbed these areas with a wire brush and oiled them so they are better than when I first found them. There is some pitting around the nipple and at the muzzle. The pitting at the muzzle does not go into the bore. It is complete and ready to drop in your left hand stock. NOTE: This part goes on a muzzleloader, blackpowder gun.

Vintage VIKING Handmade Brown Basketweave #53 Fits Colt Single Action or similar. At offer is a Thompson Center Arms New Englander. Percussion 27 Round Barrel with Ramrod. The barrel retains about 85% original blue and has several areas of pitting as can be seen in the photos. Almost all of the pitting is on one side of the barrel and it looks to me that it was probably in a gun case when it rusted. Some of the pitting is fairly deep but certainly would not affect the shooting. There is some rust toward the end of the barrel and it needs cleaning. Used barrel, could use a good cleaning, bore does have a couple minor spots (i do think a good deep cleaning would remove a lot) bluing is good with only a couple minor scratches at the top overall good condition.

Has some pitting at muzzle as pictured, bright, shiny bore all the way from there, probably 90-95%, good nipple that turns free. Apatch goes in and out nice and smooth, Good shootable barrel.
